Introduction
On the World Wide Web, it is well known that content is king. In times past, content was held hostage by web developers and expensive web development software crippled with limited portability.
With the FireControl Content Management System, working with content has never been easier. We give you the ability to log into our secure CMS located on the same server as your web site. This means that your access is limited only to a computer with a web browser and an Internet connection. Work with your content from work, home, or even at the airport!
By using FireControl, you take control of your content. Our system allows editors to add, edit, delete, hide, or even move pages any way you wish. Insert, or upload images, add, and edit dynamic content like news, events, and more. FireControl also includes a multi-level user system that allows editors to only manipulate the content you want them to.
Editors no longer need to be web developers because of the custom web editor integrated into FireControl. Adding and editing content is as easy as typing. The editor included in FireControl is a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor so how you type and format your content in the editor is how it will appear on the page.

Features
WYSIWYG Editor
The editor included in FireControl is a WYSIWYG tool. This means that the text and text formatting you see as you type in the editor is how the text will appear on the live site. No knowledge of HTML formatting is necessary (though it does help!). Simply type and format text as you would in a program such as Microsoft Word. Those familiar with HTML can edit page code by clicking the “HTML code” tab at the bottom of the editor.
Clean URLs
A clean URL (link) allows visitors to your site to access pages or content via a meaningful address instead of a long URL filled with seemingly random and meaningless characters.

File Management
FireControl allows Site Managers to upload, edit, and delete files (photos, docs, PDF, etc) located on your site’s server via a web interface.
Note: In FireControl v2.3 and later file deletion is disabled by default.
Firebox Announcements In FireControl
Included in FireControl on its initial screen are occasional announcements from Firebox Studios including information about changes to FireControl, upcoming FireControl upgrades, general announcements, and office closings.
Requirements
Browser Requirements
Though Firebox Studios strives to maximize cross-browser compatibility in all sites we build, due to the advanced features of FireControl, not all web browsers are currently supported. If an incompatible browser is detected when accessing FireControl further access will be blocked.
We suggest using the web browser Firefox for Windows or Mac platforms. JavaScript must be enabled to fully utilize FireControl.

Bug Reporting
FireControl includes a link at the bottom of every page that allows a user to report problems encountered while using FireControl. To report a bug click on the bug-reporting link, fill out the form, and submit it.
